full time Account Executive

at Richard Harrison Bailey / The Agency in Indianapolis

Account Executive

Richard Harrison Bailey/The Agency, a marketing communication firm, currently has an opening for an account executive in our Indianapolis office. The account executive is responsible for stewarding the relationship between the agency and its clients. S/he will serve as the key, day-to-day agency representative to the client, and attend to client needs through direct contact, liaison and the marshalling of agency resources.

Our account professionals must balance the big picture of marketing strategy with the small details of creating letter-perfect marketing communications. While this is not a sales position and the AE will not be expected to cold canvas for new business, it is anticipated that the AE will generate new revenues by creating repeat business and deeper opportunities with existing clients.

Qualified applicants will demonstrate a strong commitment to service, excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to actively listen and solve problems, a desire for teamwork and collaboration, comfort with juggling multiple projects, a hearty sense of humor and the urge to travel often. The strongest candidates will be highly organized, detail-oriented, resourceful and enthusiastic.
Richard Harrison Bailey/The Agency serves not-for-profit and service-rendering organizations in higher education, health care, social services, and the membership- and mission-driven arena. Thus, prior experience in account management, higher education administration or not-for-profit administration is preferred.
