Senior Marketing Coordinator

Summary
Supports the university\'s enrollment goals by managing the admissions marketing operations
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Manages and directs the admissions marketing brochure production schedule; produces marketing materials for prospective students and their parents, educators, alumni, and internal and external contacts
- Oversees direct marketing mailing bids, including vendor selection and mailing schedule; facilitates and maintains relationships with external mail house vendors
- Helps to prepare and monitor the university admissions marketing budget
- Distributes work assignments, monitors progress and provides guidance, as needed, to other department staff
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor\'s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in marketing, communications, advertising or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
- Experience working in a supervisory capacity
- Project management skills
- Experience with budget planning
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Strong copywriting, editing and proofreading skills
- Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of direct mail activities including knowledge of U.S. Postal Service regulations
- Experience with brochure production
- Familiarity with print and web advertising
- Previous experience working in a college or university setting
Additional Requirements
- Occasional travel to other campuses and for attendance at seminars and meetings as needed
- Occasional work on weekend days, evenings and holidays for admissions events and other university functions as required
