Work with communications team to develop website design; perform necessary programming to implement design; coordinate with other IR staff on management of website updates and interfaces with web applications and databases.

Work with communications team to develop the web communications strategy in support of and consistent with the agency's strategic goals and marketing plan, and to ensure a consistent visual image by promoting uniform formatting, images, fonts icons and layout techniques.

Determine and implement website features (to include social media and other web applications), provide technical support of web and web applications; configurations, user interface, navigation and web security; implement server log analyses; address infrastructure issues that affect website functionality; define and resolve issues and create solutions; and comply with state regulations, including accessibility and compliance among all components of the TFS web presence.

Develop and implement a plan for the management and support of website content, including website guides and training for program content managers.

Monitor the website on a daily basis, including coordinating and testing links and compiling web usage reports.

Conduct research and implement feedback mechanisms to monitor usability and user satisfaction.

Bring new ideas, intranet best practices and creative solutions forward in order to improve the user experience and overall web presence.

Maintain avid attention to and implementation of new technology and emerging industry trends.

Required Education: Bachelor Degree; Minimum of 12 hours course-work in computer programming or equivalent combination of training and work experience.Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in web design and development of software applications or websites.Required Special Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills: Must have or be able to acquire a valid State of Texas driver's license within 30 days of employment.
