Web site Redesign/Project Manager

Montclair State seeks a consultant who will manage the Web site re-design and implementation of new design through the University’s main pages and the pages of components of the University. The prospective candidate should have extensive project management skills with design background and experience, and ability to make presentations to key constituents. It is anticipated that this position will be full-time for a period of one year.
This project is under the auspices of the department of University Communications and the Web Site re-design/Program Manager will report to the Executive Director of University Communications working directly with the Director of Web Services and the Web Services staff.
Project fee commensurate with experience.
Requirements
• Experience in large, multi-client Web project management
• Technical and design experience in multi-tier Web site production
• Examples of similar site development and project management, preferably in Higher Education market
• Knowledge of public/state accessibility requirements
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
Description
• Offer suggestions on site design and structure
• Manage project coordination with multiple clients
• Project plans will include:
o Review of existing site goals; design, content, navigation
o Establish benchmark goals and responsibilities for tasks
o Plan testing schedule
• Maintain strict timeline for delivery of phases of project outlined below.
• Communicate project status to clients, and management
