Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs

Reporting to the President, the Provost and VPAA provides leadership for the College's academic programs and for the administrative offices that support the academic mission. This includes all academic departments, the library, academic information technology, the Registrar, summer sessions, continuing education, a learning assistance center, a volunteer center, international programs, and two art galleries. S/he is responsible for ensuring the integrity of all academic programs through program development, review, and assessment; coordinating academic programs and policy with the SUNY system leadership; and helping the institution prepare for the reaccreditation visit by the Middle States Association in 2013. A key member of the President's Cabinet, the Provost works as part of a team to set the overall direction of the College including new initiatives within the recently completed strategic plan.
