Reporting to the Web Editor / Project Manager within the University of Nevada, Reno’s (UNR) Integrated Marketing team, the Writer, Strategic Communications, is responsible for various types of marketing-based writing, including writing for the Web, promotional materials, advertisements, video and other persuasive writing. The position assists with web publishing, project coordination duties, and serves as a marketing liaison to multiple university units.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution with a preferred emphasis in journalism, advertising, English or other writing discipline and two years experience; or a Master’s or Doctorate and one year of experience in marketing-based writing.
