Multimedia Designer - Communications Specialist

The Missouri University of Science and Technology seeks a creative and experienced interactive digital multimedia professional. An ideal candidate for this position would have technical experience, design experience, a creative eye and interest in today's website and digital technologies and trends.
Primary responsibilities will involve participating fully in the development and creation of multimedia presentations in various formats and presentations to support Missouri S&T's digital communication endeavours. You will also participate in the overall enhancement and development of Missouri S&T's web presence, including the development of specialized interactive sites such as virtual tours.
Candidate will interact with content authors, editors, project managers, and technology staff in designing, developing and maintaining high quality electronic products such as web sites, electronic documents, and digital media. Experience in electronic email campaigns, including design, production and implementation is desired.
Candidate will assist with the development and monitoring of comprehensive tracking reports to monitor web activities, and the delivery of relevant information to internal and external audiences.
Must be able to plan, develop, and execute a concept from start to finish, have strong interpersonal communication skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving with demonstrated organizational skills. Flexibility, creativity, and sense of humor are essential.
Relevant multimedia and web development experience, videotaping, production, and editing expertise, the ability to use FinalCutPro (or similar software), photography and print graphic design is a plus.
