The College of Applied Health Sciences, Office of the Dean is seeking a highly motivated, creative self-starter with marketing and editorial expertise to fill the position of Director of Web Communications. The director will be responsible for the college’s web site and intranet content, as well as the sites of five academic departments. Responsibilities include strategic planning, marketing consultation, content development, policy planning and daily operations. Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and at least three years experience in web communications, including hands-on management of a medium-to-large-scale web site preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills and experience in a higher education or nonprofit environment highly preferred. Strong knowledge of XHTML, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, web accessibility, and usability principles required. Knowledge of PHP, CSS, Web 2.0 tools, SEO, and content management systems strongly preferred.
