JOB DUTIES: Develop and maintain existing and new web pages on a daily basis with other members of the department and content managers across campus. Audit pages for accuracy and timeliness, and advise content managers to update their materials as appropriate. Assist with development and testing of new Web pages, forms, and interactive features. Post press releases to the University web site newswire. Contribute to the adoption, implementation, and use of new software that supports the University web site. Review web pages submitted to the site for accuracy of content, spelling, and grammar before publishing. Serve as the point person for receipt and recording of incoming web projects. Provide content management system training for content managers. Provide telephone and in-person support in response to requests for content management system help. Ensure that the University web site supports the overall communication and branding goals of the University. Review other higher education web sites to assess Monmouth's competitiveness. Other duties as assigned. Contribute to the development and distribution of training and support materials for the content managers. Recommend tools and resources necessary to maintain and enhance web operations. Review analytics and assess web site performance.

REQUIREMENTS: Three years of experience managing professional web sites. Intermediate knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, and SQL database management. Familiarity with using web page content management systems or development software as well as in developing database-driven forms.

Interpersonal, time management, and project management skills. Ability to work both independently and as a team member. Must be able to convey technical instruction to non-technical users. Strong customer service skills necessary. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or a related field.

Experience with ASP.net, Visual Studio, and XML highly desirable. Basic knowledge of PhotoShop and Illustrator required, advanced knowledge. Attitude and ability to search out and learn new programs and technologies.
