Web Content Assistant
at The Sage Colleges in New York
The Sage Colleges is looking for a part-time, hourly, and preferably in-house, creative, and deadline-oriented Web Content Assistant. The assistant will be responsible for maintaining and advancing the college’s website with fresh, compelling and updated content; develop and integrate graphic and multimedia components into the college’s website; and work with various internal customers to facilitate web content that advances the mission and goals of the college.
Requirements
The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in web content management, design, development, and maintenance of websites. A BA/BS degree in Web Development, Web Design, or related field is preferred.
Candidate must possess:
> Firm grasp of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
> Familiarity with MySQL Database management
> An understanding of Online Content Management Systems (CMS) with experience in the Reason Content Management System preferred
> Familiarity of Linux and Apache based web servers
> Proficiency in Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop
> Strong project management and organization skills with the ability to juggle multiple web-based projects
