Drupal/Web Developer
The Drupal/Web Developer is primarily responsible for developing and updating web pages for the University's principal web site, www.sju.edu, maintaining the Drupal CMS, and providing guidance and support to the rest of the University community regarding web-based initiatives.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required. At least two (2) years of professional experience as a professional web developer. 1+ years of Drupal development experience (Drupal 6-7), including, but not limited to, creating new Drupal modules, blocks, themes, and views from scratch or tweaking existing elements; Solid knowledge of HTML and related website development technologies. CSS, HTML, PHP, jQuery, Javascript – CSS3/HTML5 is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GIT, Subversion, or other version control system is desirable; Specific experience with Wordpress, Cascade, and Mobile platforms (iPhone, Android, Windows, etc.), is desirable; Working knowledge of databases (preferably Oracle, MySQL, and SQL). Experience with XSL/XSLT; Specific experience with campus portals, email and calendar technologies, and search engines is highly desirable.
