The Eberly College of Arts and Sciences seeks an experienced individual to oversee the development and implementation of the website design and development for the College. The incumbent will serve as a creative designer for web, integrated marketing projects, and print pieces. They will provide daily support to official College websites, assist in developing new applications, and manage and create new databases for web applications. A bachelor’s degree is required preferably in graphic design, integrated multimedia design or other related design field, but computer software or other related fields will be considered. The applicant must have two-three years of experience in the following areas: working on web design in Photoshop, working on graphic design in Adobe InDesign, writing CSS, and converting Photoshop to HTML, XHTML, CSS. The candidate must have a minimum of two-three years of experience programming in PHP and one year of experience programming in Ruby. Demonstrated knowledge of web related policies and design; graphic design standards; strong creative, artistic, and communication skills; and demonstrated knowledge of marketing are required.
