Business Intelligence Specialist

The department of Enterprise Application Services within Ithaca College’s office of Information Technology Services (ITS) invites applications for a full-time Business Intelligence Specialist to assist with the development, maintenance and support of the College’s Business Intelligence technical environment. Develop in-depth understanding of technical and business environment. Work with BI Architect and appropriate business users to develop sustainable business solutions. Respond to day to day access issues and other requests from end-users. Assist in developing, implementing and documenting best practices and procedures within the department. Develop and implement data models including conceptual, logical and physical models to meet the College’s reporting and analytic needs. Develop in-depth understanding of current BI toolset and provide end-user support and training for those tools including report writing. Participate in the planning and testing for patch application and upgrades. Develop and foster good relationships with user community and other areas of ITS. Participate as a member of the College’s strategic and operational BI teams as appropriate.
