Join the Medical School's award-winning Office of Communications Team. This team is responsible for designing and updating the Medical School's public facing website that highlight its missions of education, research, and patient care. This group also leads the Medical School's efforts into social media and new practices such as responsive design. The selected candidate also will have the opportunity to work on original designs. Candidate must be proficient in Frontend web-development and have a good understanding of Content Management Systems. Must have working knowledge of Wordpress, PHP/mySQL, JavaScript and must be able to keep up with the latest web trends and techniques as well as be open to continual learning. Candidate should have a strong foundation in concept development and layout, good understanding of web design and web typography, comfort of handling multiple projects, and excellent communication skills. Must be proficient in HTML(5), CSS(2.1/3), JavaScript(jQuery), Wordpress, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver. Must be comfortable with both Mac/PC environments and text editor as a tool.
