The Computer and Information Technology (CIT) program in the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI seeks a lecturer or senior lecturer for an anticipated start date of August 1, 2012 in the area of Information Technology, with a specialization in web development. The position requires teaching diverse undergraduate students; managing the School's website, both technically and strategically; working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students to create and maintain web content; conducting scholarship of teaching and learning; and service to the department, School, and university.

Qualifications include: M.S. in Computer Information Technology or a closely-related M.S. degree in a discipline from an accredited institution of higher education; proven website development, design, and management experience, including web and mobile programming and the ability to translate theories and concepts into practical applications; and the ability to supervise students in support of website continuous improvement and maintenance.
