Ithaca College is seeking an experienced marketing professional to serve as Director of Client Marketing Services within the Office of Marketing Communications. This position will lead the Client Marketing Services group and assist staff with the development and execution of marketing strategies for the five academic schools, sports information, as well as select administrative units within Ithaca College. The Director leads their team infusing a culture for maintaining high standards for customer service, assists with annual development of the institutional strategic marketing plan, and leads each of the primary clients in creation of their unit-based strategic marketing plans. The Director works with deans and/or vice presidents, associate deans, faculty, and staff to determine his/her clients’ marketing and communications needs; assists the Associate Vice President to execute campus-wide marketing strategies and advertising campaigns, and coordinates communication between the marketing communications staff. The Director works closely with the undergraduate and graduate recruitment marketing teams to coordinate efforts between the schools and the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. The director serves as lead trainer and primary point of contact for the college’s licensing and trademark enforcement program.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field; at least five years progressively responsible experience in marketing communications, preferably in higher education; demonstrated knowledge of strategic marketing planning, advertising, social media marketing, project management, and customer service; strong writing and editing skills; strong presentational and public speaking skills; demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and lead groups to consensus; and supervisory experience are required.
