Central Washington University is seeking an experienced Digital Graphic Designer for the Office of Public Relations and Marketing. The designer will assist in creating the university's digital media/publications, creating and maintaining the university's Web site design and brand, and other social media products. This position is responsible for developing the graphic design of the university's official Web templates and style guides, and is responsible for creating user-friendly interfaces driven by the university's content management system.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in graphic design or a related field AND three years of professional experience in Web design, with one year of Web programming experience.
Proficient in working with a variety of Web authoring and graphic design applications in the Macintosh environment, including experience in HTML programming and troubleshooting, cascading style sheets, applying accessibility, readability and usability methodologies, such as American Disabilities Act requirements, and software experience in Adobe Creative Suite.
