University of the Pacific seeks a polished, experienced and energetic writer/editor to work closely with the University President on integrated communications. Includes speechwriting, multimedia presentations, talking points, written and e-mail correspondence, web copy. Manages videos and social media for the President and assists with town hall and other special events.

The Communications Manager also works on strategic projects for the Office of Marketing and University Communications such as writing content for the website and University magazines, as well as creating ads and videos.

Must have demonstrated experience writing short-and long-form copy for publication, reports and web. Speechwriting experience in higher-ed or politics strongly preferred.
