The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a highly skilled Web Developer. As a part of the University's Web team, the Web developer will be responsible for building content-rich standards-compliant Web sites for University schools, departments, and programs.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree and at least 3 years experience creating standards-compliant Web sites; proficiency in XML/XSLT, XHTML, CSS, PHP and Javascript.
Ideal candidate will have strong analytical, technical, and organizational skills with solid understanding of browser compatibility, SEO practices, content management, and Web development standards; ability to communicate technical and complex information to all types of audiences; ability to work collaboratively; must have initiative, flexibility, and ability to meet deadlines. Provide examples Web sites you have developed with a description of your role in the project.
