Web Communications Coordinator

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock, a leading metropolitan university, seeks an experienced communications professional for a position as Web Communications Coordinator (#R99841). This position will be a member of the Office of Communications creative team that guides the university’s image and branding program.
The Web Communications Coordinator will augment, broaden and grow UALR’s use of web and social media as a communications channel. The coordinator must demonstrate experience in web and new media communications and the ability to use these skills to advance UALR’s communication and marketing strategies.
Excellent communications and writing skills, including strategic planning, media relations, and computer skills. Experience with HTML is desirable. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, results-driven, and have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple projects. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, or a related field, and at least three years’ experience in PR or communications. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and skills.
