EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR – ITS Operations (#070709-35101)
at Bucks County Community College in Newtown, PA
Full-time position managing the desktop operations, software licensing, audiovisual technology and enterprise server areas of Information Technology Services; responsible for hiring and scheduling staff, and providing training and professional development opportunities to ensure current technology support capabilities; provides technical direction for lab and office operations; serves as liaison between ITS, Academic and Continuing Education areas for planning, coordinating and updating labs in support of programs; assists CITO with planning and budgeting activities related to lab and administrative systems operations; functions as CITO in his/her absence. Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years IT experience – or – Master’s Degree (preferred); 7 years technical operations management experience with emphasis on large-scale desktop and help desk operations, integrating AV systems and implementing controls for server hardware and server operating system management; proven management experience to mentor and develop staff; verbal communication skills to effectively interface with all levels within and outside the College community; demonstrated written communication skills needed to develop operational policies and procedures.
