Academic Affairs Assistant
at Laboratory Institute of Merchandising in New York
Academic Assistants are responsible for providing overall administrative support to the Academic Affairs Office, and, as needed, for the college in general. Duties include, but are not limited to, writing, preparing and processing a variety of administrative forms and reports; administering daily operations such as answering phones, student inquiries, distribution of mail, making photocopies, office correspondence, etc.; assisting with special projects, supervising student office workers and performing other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements: The person selected will have the following qualifications:
• Minimum of an Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Detail oriented in lending exemplary administrative support
• Flexibility to provide administrative support to other areas of the college, when needed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
