Web Editor/Content Manager

We are looking to hire someone who is enthusiastic and enjoys writing and editing web copy as well as developing multimedia assets that improve the content and the online promotion of the web sites such as blogging, podcasts, and other interactive Web2.0 technologies. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fun and fast-paced environment, lives by details, has exceptional organization skills, and a positive attitude.
• Write and edit Web copy.
• Interact with content creators (faculty and staff) to edit and format Web content.
• Search Engine Optimization and Metatags.
• Create other assets such as presentation templates, graphics, newsletters and more.
• Assist in the development solid visitor-friendly information architectures.
• Develop web graphics for web sites, Flash and other multi-media assets.
• Increase quality web traffic with search engine promotion and optimization and other marketing venues.
• Maintain web sites and perform cross-browser/platform quality assurance testing of web content.
• Will work on a wide variety of projects therefore the ideal candidate must be flexible and able to multitask.
Required Skills:
• HTML.
• Web editing and writing skills.
• Experience with Photoshop, Flash and Dreamweaver.
• Must have good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills with a great attitude.
• Ability to organize, follow direction and delegate responsibilities.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Experience with Acrobat, and CSS.
• Experience with Illustrator, In Design and/or Quark a plus.
• Video editing a plus.
