Web Usability Analyst

The incumbent researches, architects, designs, tests and redesigns the user experience/usability of web based marketing and communications initiatives, sites and applications. Specific duties include:
Creating user profiles and environmental profiles;
Following "Research-Based Web Design and Usability Guidelines" to develop project plans;
Gathering data through interviews, questionnaires and focus groups;
Creating personas, scenarios and task analysis for new interface, sites or applications;
Incorporating business needs into overall architecture/structural design of a shared information environment;
Implementing appropriate navigation models used to build intuitive navigation structures;
Providing detailed design of user interface (UI) for a variety of projects;
Creating and maintaining UI standards and guidelines;
Making recommendations to improve visual design;
Conducting usability testing;
Creating documentation and materials for demonstrating web content management to client groups.
