Front End Web Developer

Blackwell Interactive is looking for a Web Developer to join the primary Web Development team of Duke University. The Web Developer is responsible for the development and implementation of interactive applications supporting Duke University's faculty, staff and student groups. They provide leadership in the execution of current projects as well as the integration of new and effective technologies.
The position reports to the Manager, Blackwell Interactive
In this position you will work on various projects including templates, conceptual prototypes, and production-level components. Strong understanding of site
functionality, site architecture, data flow and intuitive navigation schemes are expected.
Can ensure consistency from design (flat image files) to wire frames to production (working models of CSS and XHTML) before migrating to larger content management systems.
Assist in development of methodology for the ongoing assessment site performance; identify and resolve conflicts arising over the creation, control and use of site;
develop and enforce database use guidelines.
