Web Content Editor

Carthage College seeks a skilled editor to advance our web development. As part of our fast-moving communications team, you’ll create and groom written, graphic and video content published on our web site and via other electronic media. You’ll serve as a key point of contact with content owners throughout the campus. You’ll demonstrate skill in crafting interesting stories, along with aptitude for mastering the changing technological requirements of telling those stories. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in English, communications, journalism, or related field. At least two years of full-time experience in communications and marketing is preferred, as is knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web content management systems.
