Western Carolina University seeks applicants for Web Applications Analyst (Business & Technology Applications Analyst-Advanced). This position is responsible for web development and web site administration using the Open Text (Red Dot) content management system, and other tools such as WordPress. The position also develops for the university's SharePoint-based intranet.
In addition to web development work, the analyst must manage small to medium-sized web projects, working with clients to design information architecture, and identify and implement technologies based on client needs and university infrastructure. The position also provides technical support to other university web editors and developers.
