The College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a senior Budget Manager (Assistant Director), to oversee the $18 million Veterinary Teaching Hospitals, and the overall college budget, which is approximately $55 million. This position has three direct reports which are supported by fourteen team members, providing accounting, business analysis, accounts payable, purchasing, and mailroom operations. This position works with the college Director, the Dean, Department Chairs, and the Chief of Staff to improve procedures, interpret and implement fiscal policy, and provide reporting. This position oversees the college wide budget development. Salary is commensurate with experience, with a range of $80-90k. Leadership and management experience is a must. Experience with enterprise wide systems is required. Masters degree in business/finance/accounting with four years of appropriate experience, or a BS in business/finance/accounting with six years of experience is required. A CPA is preferred, but not required.
