Development and Alumni Relations at Brandeis University is looking for a Sr. Web Services & E-Comm. Admin. The person will be responsible for creating and implementing the strategies, managing the programming, and maintaining and updating the content and functionality of the Development and Alumni Relations websites and all of their affiliated sub modules for alumni, development and their staff users.

Examples of Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages the websites for the Development Office and the Alumni Relations Office including reviewing and updating the general information pages and coordinating periodic reviews of the graphic identity/design and the University?s Office of Communications. Also services as project manager for on-going projects.
  • Implements the programming and enhancement of the design and the content Management System of the Alumni Relations websites as determined by the supervising staff.
  • Develops and manages programming for the Development Office website.
  • Responsible for E-Communications & Giving including coordinating the content and distribution of the Louie-News monthly e-newsletter to alumni; the management of the distribution of broadcast e-mail messages as requested by the Development & Alumni staff; the coordination of the alumni listserves and e-mail forwarding addresses that are maintained by the office; the coordination of the content and distribution of e-mail fundraising solicitations and the development of tracking reports for the results.

Qualifications:

Bach Degree required

5+ years website programming/publishing experience

Strong writing skills

Experience with graphics and templates produced with Adobe Go Live!, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, and JavaScript

Familiar with and/or willing to learn Apache, SSL enabled, PHP scripting, and MySQL database

This system runs on a Linux Server. Strong working knowledge of Core requirements: CSS, DHTML, XHTML, PHP.
