The Networking department at the SUNY College at Oneonta invites applications for the position of Web Developer. This is a twelve month appointment. Expectations include assisting the Web Coordinator with the design, creation and management of content and coding to optimize the SUNY College at Oneonta web presence. SUNY College at Oneonta is a state-supported, comprehensive college of liberal arts and sciences with 5,900 students and 1,000 employees. The College ranks third among, “regional master’s – north,” in the US News and World Report rankings of, “schools with a strong commitment to teaching,” sits at number 47 on the Kiplinger’s magazine list of the “100 Best Values in Public Colleges,” and has been recognized by the Carnegie Foundation for excellence in community engagement. The Department of Networking is an eight person team responsible for data handling, system support and management of the campus website and portal in a strongly collaborative environment with the other thirty-four staff of Information Technology Services.
