UF Law Webmaster (Working title: Online Communications Coordinator; Classification title: INFO/PUBLICATIONS SVCS, CRD 2)
The University of Florida Levin College of Law is seeking an experienced web developer to oversee the school’s 3,500-page website. The webmaster will manage part-time web editors and work with other Communications Office Team members to create web pages and update, review, code, and, at times, create content. The webmaster serves as a technical resource to the school for projects related to a variety of online, digital and technical communications. This is a permanent, full-time, salaried position. Salary range is $42,000 - $62,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Superb state benefits package.
Required: Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization, or bachelor's degree in appropriate area of specialization and two years of experience in website development/management and digital communications. Candidates must have demonstrated experience and expertise in project and personnel management and web design, and be skilled in needs assessment, goal identification, research and information gathering, and problem-solving and prevention. Mastery of XHTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and image editing software is essential; experience with WordPress, HTML5 and CSS3 is highly desired. Candidates must be customer service-oriented and able to work well with others, and must be proactive, organized, accurate and reliable. Marketing, public relations or journalism experience a plus. Requires expert written and oral command of the English language and ability to competently edit content for the web.
