Dickinson College is seeking a Director of Online Marketing.

Responsibilities:
This position will report to the executive director of marketing and communications. Develop, prioritize and lead the college’s long-term and short-term online communications strategies. Maintain the college’s official presence on the World Wide Web. Assist academic and administrative units across campus in developing and maintaining vibrant, accurate and up-to-date Web sites. Produce and/or oversee production of video and other multimedia communications. Develop, prioritize and lead the college’s social media strategy. Supervise the four professional staff members, budget and operations of online marketing (formerly electronic communications). Serve as a member of the college’s soon-to-be-established marketing and branding committee.

Qualifications:
The position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Requires experience creating and managing Web sites and designing individual Web pages. Background in organizing information and writing for a variety of audiences. Knowledge of Web standards. Thorough understanding of and demonstrated success in social media. Mastery of general office software, content management system, and video editing equipment. Attention to detail, ability to organize and plan projects and ability to work collaboratively and supervise other staff. Strong writing ability. Appreciation for graphic design.
