The Missouri S&T Communications Department has an opening for a senior video producer. Salary range is $32,700-$54,938. (NOTE: Job salary offers are generally made between the salary range minimum and the first quartile of the salary range.)
Job Description
Create, direct and produce video materials for web-based and multimedia marketing campaigns and products.
Coordinate video production efforts for web-based and multimedia marketing campaigns.
Plan, assign and supervise work of student employees, student interns or other video production staff.
Assist TV and radio news crews, providing technical assistance with lighting, audio mixing, etc.
Consultation/coordination with other video production efforts across campus.
Photography, photo editing, photo cataloging.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communication or a related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary. Three to four years experience in TV production is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive knowledge of video editing and graphic design programs including Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop. Experience in Macintosh OS platform. Ability to turn around projects quickly and accurately. Organized approach to project management with sharp attention to detail. Photography experience and skills desirable. Work well with designers, writers, multimedia specialists and other communication professionals in a team environment.
