Director of Online Engagement
Acting as the Director of Online Engagement, the successful candidate will be responsible for development of online marketing campaigns that drive key alumni behaviors including making donations, joining the MSUAA, updating data records in the new CRM; manage the content for all University Advancement websites and emails including content generation, proofing and implementation using the approved iModules email client and website CRM; assume the lead on the web, social media and email communication strategy for University Advancement. Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communications, public relations or web design. 5+ years of demonstrated success executing online marketing campaigns. Well developed skills in business analysis and project management. Solid understanding of online technologies and best practices. Ability to translate Advancement strategy into interactive user experiences. Able to define business objectives of marketing programs and demonstrates an understanding of the economic impact of the program. Experience managing third-party agencies or vendors. Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities simultaneously. Work well independently and effectively as a team member. Deep understanding and experience implementing Web 2.0 technologies and capabilities. Experience with implementing accessibility standards for people with disabilities. Excellent oral, written, listening, and presentation skills. Additional Requirements: Desired experience working with a member-service, political and/or fundraising organization.
