Director of Interactive Communications
at SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) in Savannah,GA
The director of interactive communications is responsible for the smooth operation of all SCAD's public facing Web initiatives which include, but are not limited to, scad.edu, mobile.scad.edu, micro-sites, Web application and social media marketing initiatives.
In addition, the director will be tasked with ensuring that core technical design and experience will be effectively communicated, identifying project risks and addressing those promptly, creating an annual interactive plan in conjunction with the executive editor and director of strategic interactive marketing, collaborating with other academic and staff departments to ensure all SCAD online resources are marketing the university appropriately, and serving as a project manager for all technical facets of a project.
Successful candidates will possess a bachelor's degree, five or more years as a Web developer, two or more years as a lead programmer or interactive team leader, informational architecture expertise, five or more years of experience with AS2/3, PHP, Rails, Cold Fusion, CSS, XML, JavaScript, SQL/MySQL, Oracle, and other relevant development languages. Candidates with experience in advertising and marketing will be highly preferred. Must possess the ability to perform in a fast-paced creative and technical environment.
