Web Design & Content Manager

Franklin Pierce University is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our Marketing and Communications Department as our Web Design and Content Manager. This position will be responsible for developing the look and feel of our University Web site and ensuring that the University brand is communicated in a cohesive, aesthetically pleasing and compelling way. The role entails daily activity monitoring on both the Internet and Intranet sties, as well as focusing on security, timely Web page updates and maintaining accessibility of the Web site.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Graphic/Web Design or Computer Science or possess an Internet Technology certification. The individual will have a minimum of two years of experience. It is essential that the incumbent have a solid knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XHTML, XML, Flash design, InDesign, Microsoft and Adobe software packages. Must possess up-to-date knowledge of Web Design trends and techniques. Excellent oral and written communication skills, project/program management skills and be a team player. An eye for detail and the ability to advance several projects simultaneously is essential
