Ithaca College is seeking an experienced individual to lead and provide the overall creative vision and direction for all communication vehicles in support of applying and maintaining a strong, consistent brand identity for Ithaca College. The director will oversee conceptual process and production of the College's most visible communications, both digital and print, with a heavy emphasis on digital. Direct, coordinate and manage staff in the effective development, production and delivery of timely, consistent, and cost-effective communications in support of the College's overall strategic marketing efforts. Maintain high creative standards, educate the campus on and apply Ithaca College's graphic identity standards. Provide schools and offices with the tools needed to ensure all creative communications reflect the image and messages of the College. This individual will play an integral part in implementing and championing a strong brand identity for Ithaca College and will lead the creative team in integrating marketing and communication strategies and messages into creative work. The director will infuse creativity and collaboration within the creative services team, cross-functional and cross-unit project teams, and create a culture and process for designing across all mediums (print, web, email, mobile, TV, etc.)
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in arts, marketing, communications or related field; in-depth knowledge of design and electronic composition; strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; proven supervisory and management abilities; demonstrated success in leading and energizing creative teams to produce excellent results; extensive experience managing complex production schedules, and ability to work as part of a team.
