Reporting to the Assistant Director, Multichannel Marketing and Web Development, serving as an integral member of the IMC/UR team, this position will be responsible for supporting the University web brand, and departmental and divisional sub-brands through research, content development, development and implementation including web page creation, and site development. This position is a critical member of the Web Brand team and Integrated Marketing & Communications department with the responsibility to assist in the creation of and maintenance of the online brand for the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

Job Duties:
-Write web content using AP style, as assigned by the Assistant Director, Multichannel Marketing and Web Development according to a project schedule.
-Conduct research of market/competitor/relevant websites and perform interviews with clients (University faculty and staff) to collect information on website structure, content, functionality, and interactivity.
-Analyze research and interview results to recommend and define web page structure, content, functionality, and interactivity needs in collaboration with the Web Design and New Media Specialist and clients.
-Perform keyword research using multiple online tools (e.g. Google Adwords, Keyword Discovery).
-Write content for landing pages and e-mail campaigns as part of the University web-based marketing effort.
-Edit, proofread, and provide feedback on projects/content created by other staff members.
-Create wire frames to illustrate web page structure based on client needs.
-Create and edit images files for web use.
-Create and edit audio/video files for web use.
-Create web pages using prepared files (.html, .css, .jpg, .gif, .psd, .pdf, .wmv, .dvix, .mpeg) and editing tools (i.e., Dreamweaver), or Plone Content Management System.
-Analyze existing websites, perform keyword research, and recommend changes/additions to clients for improvement of structure and content, functionality, and interactivity.
-Generate and analyze Google Analytics reports (or a comparable tool) and make website changes as necessary.
-Create and implement interactive elements for websites using Plone portlets and other Plone programs/products.
-Develop and publish content for University social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
